UB BSChE ALUMNI - The proud members of the University of Bohol Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering Batch of 1977-1993 pose for a souvenir picture during their 1st Grand Alumni Homecoming on May 17-18,2014 at the UB Institutional Research Center, Tagbilaran City.
Graduates of Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering of the University of Bohol from 1977 to l993 were reunited as one big family during their successful 1st Grand Reunion last May 17-18,2014 held at the UB campus and Bohol Tropics Resort, this city.
Tagged as one of thewell attended UB alumni gatherings ,the group started their two-day celebration with a thanksgiving mass , followed by a motorcade along the city's main thoroughfares. At the UB campus the alumni paid a courtesy call to Atty. Nuevas T. Montes , UB Acting Presidentbefore they revisited their classrooms which are located in the upper floor of the old administration building.During the opening program, they were welcomed by UB Acting President Montes, UB/RPC Alumni President Col. Cesar Pamaong and SAO Head Engr. Lemuel O. Belarmino. As token of their appreciation to their Alma Mater , the BSChE group donated one unit videocam to the Student Affairs Office for its documentation and sealed support to the alumni association for its scholarship program . The same group also pledged P105,000.00 to United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) - Bohol Chapter in support to the Housing Projects for the 2013 Earthquake Victims.
After the program, the UB BSChE alumni proceeded to Antequera town to turn-over a house to Cirila Lomotos, an earthquake victim. The turning over was witnessed by UAP Archt. Joseph Balonda and Barangay Captain Pedro Lomotos. Through the courtesy of Ms. Chona Lim Omandam the group pledged an additional 40 pcs. G.I.sheets roofing for the victims.
During the evening socials, the former BSChE students honored the faculty members of the College of Engineering and Technology headed by former dean Engr. Jes. B. Tirol . Engr. Natalia E. Aparece, a former professor, delivered a response in behalf of the faculty.

Millanar, PROs - Reina Josephine O. Gamutan and Buenaventurada D. Libot. For Batch Representatives, 1977 - Carolina O. Belarmino, 1978 - Angelo B. Longjas, 1979 - Elsa J. Superales, 1980 -Eudoxita C. Lomaad, 1981 - Lourdes O. Requeron, 1982 - Sandra C. Alabat, 1983 -AntoninoGeniston, 1984- Lydia A. Manatad, 1985- Mards C. Ruiz, 1986 - May M. Agacan, 1987 - Epifania O. Dolotina, 1988 - Sarah Q. Boligao, 1989 - Pina E. Occena, 1990 - Jun P. Araño, 1991 - Ed O. Caga-anan, 1992 - Pinky S. Acog, 1993 - Flor E. Bongcaras.
The next grand reunion is scheduled on May 2017.
